Introduction

Preblast:

Tomorrow is the day @channel.”I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered coupons, when the age of F3 comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight!””Now I can’t make you do it. You’ve got to look at the guy next to you, look into his eyes. Now I think you’re going to see a guy who will go that inch with you. You’re gonna see a guy who will sacrifice himself for his team, because he knows when it comes down to it you’re gonna do the same for him. That’s F3, gentlemen. Now, what are you gonna do?””By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of F3!”Plus…. “pain heals, chicks dig scars and glory lasts forever.”OP. 0600. SYITG

Count off and Explanation (~ 10 min)

  • We are going to break out into teams in a moment
  • The goal of the day is for your team to complete all the stations and get back to the flags first
  • On the siren, everybody will do 10 burpees as fast as they can and then run to the designated flag and line up SINGLE FILE. We will count off in sixes to break up into team
  • Once we are in teams, everybody has five minutes to get to the station that corresponds with your team number (e.g.: team one starts at station one) – shotgun start
  • After completing the initial station, run to the next station in number order (e.g.: so if you start at station three, your next station is station four, station six goes to station one next)
  • First team back to the flags wins
  • Note that picking up the six is perfectly acceptable for those who are stronger or slower at certain things – so if someone stinks at running, have someone else help with reps and vice versa

Circle of Trust

CoT 3rd Anniversary Convergence
What a year boys!  Think back to last fall…we’d just completed our most successful fundraiser with the 5K, Grow Ruck, and an amazing Iron Pax month.  We were hard planning what turned out to be yet another amazing event for our holiday party with Kareoke & cocktails proved a great time had by all! With that we headed full steam into 2020 posting record breaking numbers early in the winter. The year ahead was full of the promise that we would grow exponentially!!!

Then without warning, we suffered the tragic loss of our dear friend Noonan… but as a tightly woven unit we rallied together within 24 hours to pay tribute to that man in a memorial that none of us will ever forget.

From there we continued to rally together crushing Louisville in a few regional challenges while we continued to grow. Our regions engagement was at an all time high. Black Diamond came to fruition challenging even the fittest of our PAX.

But then obviously the world changed and the pandemic rocked our lives personally, professionally and certainly IN THE GLOOM.  It fractured our tightly woven region and polarized a group of men that not long before were all of very like mind! But yet again we rose to the challenge.

* Virtuosity was born and brought the gloom home to men sheltered for safety allowing us to still connect.

* The Homebound Concierge Service emerged and has  grown to be one of our most successful community service projects ever.

* Lincoln Games showed us we could work together as a team while being physically apart.

* What’s more, it started a spark that grew into new region that’s become one of the fastest growing in the nation, again congrats to Crossroads and all their success! But I know for many reopening and safely returning to the gloom  wasn’t easy and was a challenge at home. I know the pressure and stress built for
many of us and our families as the realization that a return to normalcy was unrealistic this year and likely next. I know as we gather here even today many of us still struggle with that pressure and that stress. So I will remind you all…that it’s in these times when we rise together. In these times we stay the course, we lean on each other and we help our brothers!  There is light at the end of this tunnel men and as we are STRONGER TOGETHER we will get there together!  I look forward to the close of this year as we return to the fun & games in the gloom!  I look forward to 2021 as nothing will prevent us from continuing to impact our communities as we continue to grow together ourselves! I am so humbled to have the privilege to be here with you today and love you all very much!!!  Thank you to each and everyone of you for your work in and out of the gloom! May god less you all!

Naked Man Moleskin

Three years is just the beginning Gentlemen. This past year has proven that while things can knock us down, we will always get up. And we will always accelerate.

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” – Rocky Balboa
