Introduction

I’m on a mission. Especially after last week’s Lincoln games…
“That was a lot harder than I remembered” was a phrase that was thrown around a lot after the Bench Press Pop-up. Now, I am in absolute awe of most of you guys’ physical stamina, but that bench left a bit to be desired. Seems that there is some comfort in training like a triathlete, and that’s great! Certainly, no one mistakes me for one… I don’t have the stamina, but you can tell that just by looking at me..! Take that for what you will.

It’s time to “disrupt”

But on to my mission… I won’t lie, It’s really hard to build solid muscle without weights. Even a big boi coupon really ain’t enough to pack on lean muscle that makes you stronger, more explosive, and burn more calories just sitting there. We have to get creative. I’m not a professional, but I’ve been lifting for 22 years, so i think we can figure out how to get a bunch of dudes in a parking lot using cinder blocks some decent gains. So I’m going to try and Q more around multiple AO, so pax have some options.

Those of you that have been to my Q’s and actually try and squeeze the reps, and not tear through them to make it cardio, have given me feedback on what’s working and what isn’t. I’m getting closer to what I want to achieve, using time under tension to achieve muscle failure in 45 min.

I like leg days, cause I have leg issues. Knee and corrective foot surgeries, arthritis, fused ankles, arthritis… They are my “weakest” body part, so I like to beat the snot out of them. But I Q’d today, and we did legs. So after seeing the bench pop-ups, I feel I’d be doing a disservice if we didn’t work our chest and triceps. Broncos may know a thing or two about horseshoes. It will be fun.
