Introduction

The weather was beautiful but the gnats … my goodness the darn gnats.  There were 18 PAX that had a protein packed breakfast at BP.

The Thang

Thang 1
This was a lot easier than it will look in writing …
Cones set at base of hill (cone 1) and every 20 yards up and over the hill to the other base of hill (cone 7).
Rifle carry coupon to top of hill, complete 10 goblet squats and back to cone 1 and complete 10 cross-over merkins (each arm is 1/2).
Repeat to top and back to cone 2 completing squats and merkins at the appropriate spots.
When back to the top after completing cone 3 reps, we switch to complete other side of hill.
We go down to cone 7 (base of hill) and back to top and continue 10 cross-over merkins (10 each arm).
Repeat to cone 7 (base of hill) and back to cone 5 and then cone 6 doing cross-over merkins at the appropriate cones.

Thang 2
(with partner)
Partner 1 will run to playground at school and complete 10 pull ups and 20 merkins and return to relieve partner.
Partner 2 will lunge walk (with coupon) up to cone 2 and walk/run back to base and then repeat to each cone lunge-walking up and walking/running down).
Partner returning from playground will pick up where other partner is in lunge exercise and continue.
Continue until 5:54.

Circle of Trust

I thought I would be at 400 posts sooner than I was. I never thought I would attend only 50% of the time.  But events occurred during my first 2.5 years that impacted that goal. And I ‘chose’ not to show up at times which impacted that goal.  But, I continued to show up. For this, I thank the HIMs that push me.  The HIMs that hold me accountable. The HIMs that inspire me. Without them, there would have been many more days I would have ‘chosen’ not to show up. But I can do better and I am challenging myself to do that as I embark on my next milestone.
I am also committed to being more involved in the 3rd f. To doing more to give back to and in my community. I am committed to making sure I remember and my actions reflect that this is more than a workout.
I appreciate those who showed up today and sweat with me.
