Introduction

Switched with C-bus upon request, and last night I was unhappy I did. Rain in the forecast meant I had to prepare two beatdowns . . . one for rain and one without. Prior preparation and all that . . .

PERFECT conditions for basketball today!! Low humidity and cooler temps. Gooood times.

Still have to baby my shoulder, as it still isnt healed.

As the HCs rolled in it was looking like a GREAT group for some basketball

On court drills. Line up across baseline

  • Frankenstein walks to half court, then jog to opposite baseline
  • High knee power skips to half court, then jog to opposite baseline
  • Front/back suicides. run to free throw line, backpedal to baseline. Donall the way across the court
  • Carioca, switch at half court
  • low side shuffle, switch at half court
  • jog to free throw line, then SPRINT to opposite free throw line.
  • Same thing back

Thang 2

Jog to football goal posts

  • three “burp-ups” per PAX
  • Circle up on football field. Merkin ring of fire with plank up to 100 total merkins
  • Back to field goal
  • 5 “knees to elbows” crunch ups per PAX
  • Jog back to basketball courts
  • Tip drill (first time the ball hits the ground its 5 burpees. Second time is 10 big boy sit ups)
  • Then pick teams and play

So PUSH YOURSELVES. We have 45 minutes each morning to better ourselves physically. Done let your mind defeat you when your body can go further. Do that extra rep. Run down the basketball court. Dig deep for that extra gear to finish out Mary. That is what separates the men from the boys, and the champions from the not-champions.

  • Speaker city is a BALLER. Dont let that happ-go-lucky demeanor deceive you . . . he can play.
  • Urban Cowboy is a beast. Seriously. One of the best players in F-3. No joke
  • Glass Joe put on quite the dribbling display for awhile . . . then promptly turned the ball  over.
  • Dabo is a baller
  • Dutch spends WAY too much time on the perimeter for being the tallest guy on the court.
  • Dorn has like . . . . one leg . . . and still was killing guys.
  • Baywatch has crazy good handle
  • Rainman has THE BEST FORM ON PULLUPS I HAVE SEEN IN F-3. Bar to mid chest. Freaking amazing
  • Kobayashi still has no idea how to HC on slack
  • Mellencamp is a three point master. Straight up Steve Kerr- cold blooded shooter.
  • Since Riunite is so thin now he has to guard shooting guards on the perimeter.
  • Chainlink is the full package . . . offense, defense . . . smack talk . . .
  • Big Kahuna is a great player too  . . . he isnt just a track star folks
  • Sputnik, I didnt get to play with/against you so I have no idea on your game. Im sure its dominant.
  • Baby wipes and his two FNGs today are crazy good . . . silky smooth on the court and deadly on the mid range jumpers.
  • Nosejob I really didnt pay attention  .. .  sorry.
  • Tractor beam . . . no clue. Im sure you were killing it after trimming all that beard hair off. Very aerodynamic.
  • I turned the ball over like 18 times in the first game and take full responsibility for our loss. Inexusable.
