PreBlast, Late Outpost, special Spring Break Edition. What does this mean? … an even later start (by 5 minutes)! 6:20-7:05 :grin

Have you been wanting to double tap but didn’t think you’d make it on time? Well tomorrow is your chance? Join me at Two Wolves for @hacksaw ‘s AOVQ, then follow me back here. You TC boys could easily make the trip. OP, just move your car to the other side of the park and you are there! Don’t want to double tap? Rather sleep in? Then get your HOUR AND 5 MORE MINUTES OF SLEEP! It is Spring Break after all…

Bring shoes for all surfaces. Coupons are a must. We will move a bit, get some lifting in, and possible find a hill to mess around with. Look forward to seeing you all there.

The extra 5 minutes were great. Stress free drive from Two Wolves to the Outpost. Especially after wrapping up SiteQ duties. Got the OP, planted my flag. Got the speaker ready. Time to go!

Thang 1 – Triple Nickel

5 Blockees at the base of the hill.

Run up the Hill

5 Smurf Jacks IC

Run back down to the base.

5 Rounds

Mosey with coupon back to the parking lot.

Thang 2 – Lot Runs – Partner Up

There are 5 islands in the main lot. Partner run would run to the first island while partner 2 would perform exercise. When Partner 1 returned, partner 2 would run while partner 1 did the exercises. Exercises were as follows:

While running to 1st Island – partner does SSH

While running to 2nd Island – partner does Curls

While running to 3rd Island – partner holds coupon at 90 degrees

While running to 4th Island – partner does coupon Goblet Squats

While running to 5th Island – partner holds Squat (w or w/o Coupon)

As teams finished, they worked their way back down the routine until Q called time.

Mosey without coupons to Amphitheater

Thang 3 – Amphitheater

Round 1 – Start at the base of the steps. Derkin Sideways Shuffle with a Crawl Bear Up. PAX took three shuffle steps sideways, while in derkin position, and then did a derkin. Then three more shuffle steps, derkin. Continue until the end of the row, then crawl bear up to the next step. Continue back the other direction until end, crawl bear up another row, shuffle/derkin across the last row.

Round 2 – Start at the base of the steps. Irkin Sideways Shuffle with bear crawl up. Same as above except in a Irkin/Bear Crawl position.

As leaders, let’s be mindful of what we are preaching. Do we even believe in what it is that we are telling others they should do? Are we paying attention to our ‘following’? Let’s reach out and make sure we are paying attention to our team.

Really grateful for the chance to lead. And thankful to Chaps for signing off on the 5 minute delay for the day. That amphitheater routine was tough…I will bring that one back. Almost as tough as trying to spell amphitheater without spellcheck!
