Circle of Trust
I asked the PAX to think about the word “now” and what it means to them. I referenced “The Captain” a documentary on Derek Jeter for the 2nd day in a row.
I shared that he was drafted in the 1st Round but 6th overall. Five other teams past on him. They had that opportunity in that moment AKA right “now” to draft one of the greatest short stops and baseball players of all time. The other 5 guys, are gone and mostly forgotten. Jeter built a legacy.
We don’t always know when “now” is going to matter more than other moments however, we can always prepare for and be in the moment “now’. The more we do this the more opportunity we have ahead.
To me, the word “now” speaks to opportunity.
When we’re out in the gloom and maybe want to quit or slow down…keep going…”now”…in that moment.
Same goes for any other area in our life. Now is the opportunity. Make it count.
