Bring a mat
Warm-O-Rama
Easy seat, focus on breath, center your mind and body to be more aware of where you need to make space.
Sit back on feet to squeeze legs and joints. Child’s pose. Cat cow. Downward dog.
The Thang
Chaturanga flow: High plank, low plank, up dog, down dog
Sun A: Tadasana, forward fold, half-lift, fold, todasana, half moon right/left. Rinse repeat.
Sun B: Down Dog, Three-legged Dog to Runner’s Lunge, Warrior I, Chaturanga to Down Dog (left/right). Rinse repeat.
Crescent Lunge to Revolved Crescent Lunge series. Rinse repeat.
Warrior II series to Side Angle.
Chair pose to Prayer twist. (left/right).
Tree pose to Warrior III
Ball pose to shavasana.
Circle of Trust
The Golden Rule is “Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.” We also need to respect the reverse Golden Rule, “Do unto yourself, as you should do unto others.” Don’t beat yourself up. Be more gentle with yourself and your mistakes.
Naked Man Moleskin
3 Broga sessions under my belt and I am feeling much more confident in what I want to do and my pacing. I want to start doing more strength yoga that can still provide basic yoga poses for those just looking for a more gentle practice. I think it will be very helpful to provide slow movement strength and balance training. We train individual muscles with lots of reps during BCs and I think it is so important to be able to provide strength training along the full length of the body.
