Introduction
Beautiful 65 degree morning that started with some razing of the new FNG who just got off the boat from the Navy. Shot him some quick signs of gratitude before diving into the fact that YHC was Navy too and never saw a boat. We all shared in some strong mumblechatter as we waited the beginning of the beatdown. I struggled through the core principles but had some extra help from TPS Report and Sesame Street. You’d think I would have it down by name after 2 years, lol.

Circle of Trust
We quickly met our FNG who shared a great story about the Navy and back pressure. We learned alot about him before settling in on the F3 name but there were plenty of tough choices. Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift, Oil Slick, DualBag, to name a few. We are thankful for his service to our country and grateful he is home safe.
TPS lead us through the morning announcements and reminded us all to register for the IPC.
A short Circle of Trust was had when I recalled an episode of the Biggest Loser on television. The contestants were given a challenge that they did not recognize. Too often in life we are waiting for instruction or waiting for a signs and miss our opportunity to better accomplish our goals. Often we give excuses why we can’t accomplish our fitness goals because we don’t have a gym, the weather is a factor,or we don’t have guidance. In the episode, the contestants arrived at a ranch but were told the instructors would be delayed. The contestants proceeded to complain and not engage in any active activity. Instead they complained about the program, the location, their personal woes, etc. When the instructors did arrive, they made it quite clear that the contestants lacked motivation and creativity. They were asked why they didn’t simply take a walk, or explore, or anything that didn’t require instruction. It was an eye-opener for the motivated who took the lesson to heart.
The joys we have and the accomodations F3 Naperville has made during recent times has proven to be incredible. We have the opportunity to keep connected, to keep motivated, to be held accountable to ourselves, and to share our lives with our F3 community. We thrive with the minimum and we grow with our creativity.
Dear Lord, Thank you for another day of life. I’m grateful for every breath and every heartbeat that comes from your hand. I want to do my best to live this day and every day, with an attitude of gratitude. Teach me howto be thankful in all things. May I be a source of love, joy, encouragement, kindness, and hope to those around me. Please lead and guide me and order my day. In Jesus’s name I ask these things. Amen.
