Introduction
Davo isnt in the system yet . . .
I scouted DT yesterday evening after the rains for safety reasons. Unfortunately, I wasnt convinced that the area I was planning to utilize would not be safe and free of ice. Therefore my “99 problems but a B&^$% aint one” workout will have to wait for another day . . .
After thinking all night and adjusting, I adapted to a garage heavy workout instead.
I was warned by crabgrass (who fartsacked) that onions is very very sensitive about his hair getting all frizzy in the humidity if it was raining. This sealed the deal for a garage workout.
After a 1.25 mile EC ruck with Bjorn, Sun Devil, Radio Flyer and Afib, I was convinced it was the right call. Just enough snow to be slippery.
I was looking forward to this, as quite a few of these PAX havent been to one of my Qs . . . FRESH MEAT.
I broke up the PAX into Clydesdales and Mustangs by weight. Only 90% of the PAX were cross country runners . . . so some “clydesdales” were miscast. Freaking runners . . . jeez. Each Mustang had to partner with a Clydesdale
Warm-O-Rama
15 SSH
10 Abe Vigodas
10 arm circles
10 arm circles backward
The Thang
Mosey to the entrance of the Hotel Indigo parking garage.
THANG 1
Starting at the entrance, the group did the following exercises, then sprinted to the next landing by partner group for distancing. Then SSH for the 6. Then repeat the exercises, then sprint up the ramp.
There are 8 landings, so 8 sets
5 Merkins
5 burpees
5 air squats
5 big boy sit ups
THANG 2
Upon arriving at the top, the PAX found a pile of “big boy” coupons and lead pipes. The PAX were not excited to see these things.
DORA TIME!
Partner 1- Running to the other end of the top floor, touch the wall, return. Switch with partner
Partner 2- Exercises as follows
100 conduit coupon rows
100 Lying coupon “prayer chest press”
100 Conduit coupon Curls
100 coupon shoulder press
Then mosey to the bottom of the parking garage. and recover.
Then mosey back to the flags (only no one had a flag) for CoT
TOTAL MILEAGE RAN = 2.8 MILES (God I hate running . . )
Circle of Trust
My CoT was on adaptation, adjustment and GOALS. I couldnt do the exercise I had planned because of weather conditions. I definitely need to do a better job of not getting too tied to a plan and be more flexible for weather.
We all are driven men in F3. We get up in terrible weather, year round, and exercise like madmen ITG. So goal setting and pushing ourselves should be one and the same. We have a goal sheet on the Q excel mega-document where you can enter and track your progress towards goals. But its not just goals for own accountability, its to help your fellow PAX achieve their goals too. I know some guys are doing that dumb burpee challenge . . . so I added in burpees today to help them get their goal. I am working on a pull up goal, so I added in some big back movements. This is how we mutually support each other in F3. So get on that sheet, and set some GOALS for yourself this year!
Prayers for Butter maker and his family.

This was fun. A lot of very very fit runners in this group, so the heavy lifting should be a fun shock to the system and work some big muscle groups. More running than I like . . . WTF. Am I starting to like running?
Dingo- Im glad we didnt have to send a paramedic to check on you after the last two weeks. Way to keep pushing on!
Radio Flyer- A lot of running . . . I know. But you are getting MUCH better at it! Way to keep pushing past the mental wall and not quit. Respect! (Especially after an EC ruck nonetheless!!!)
Onions- I dont know how you still have time to make mumblechatter comments while running . . . Im jealous. Seriously. I need every molecule of oxygen for breathing . . let alone chatting.
Leuben- Ooof . . . had no idea about the shoulder injury. Sorry for all the lifting. But way to grit through as long as you could until the overhead presses.
Powderpuff- Once I saw your coupon as you returned it to your car, I thought “holy crap is he going to hate me later . . .”
Bongo- Hell yes brother! Everytime I post with you I realize how much we missed you when you were out with the ankle injury. Im looking forward to tennis Qs with you and Bjorn in the summer!
Bjorn- An EC ruck and hard workout and you were still lapping guys during the DORA and knocking out curls that TBD would be jealous of . . . hell yes!
Davo- Great to meet you! Welcome to the wonderful world of F3, and great posting with you today!
Bozo- Honored you made the trip brother. Great talk afterward too, and Ill shoot you a PM. Just like at OCR, you are a leader that we look to when setting up Qs.
Shandy- Great site Q and picking up the 6! Of course . . I think I was the 6 by the end . . . too much f’ing running, what was I thinking???
Afib- Great rucking with you today brother! With your crazy travel schedule, I appreciate you making the time to attend today.
Townie- I think I was only able to say three words to you today. WTH. My fault . . .
Skilling- After you disappeared after your disappointing fantasy football performance for a few weeks to reflect on your mistakes and where you went wrong, Im happy that you have returned. Welcome back!
Backstreet- Ok . . we need to come to an understanding here partner. You work on your form for merkins, and I work on depth on my air squats . . . deal?
Sun Devil- The 75 hard nant’an just keeps on bringing it day after day. And then directly into a fantastic and engaging Q Source too!!!! And EC rucking?!?!?! A N I M A L
