Circle of Trust

I am an introspective person, someone who reflects of things all the time.  I think a lot about a lot of things, which can unfortunately lead to over-thinking a lot of the time.

Yesterday morning after the workout I was walking my dog and noticed how full and clear the moon was in the morning sky.  I thought about how far away it is and the vastness of space, and then how insignificant I am in all of that, and how in this big picture nothing I do really matters in space.  And while that is true for the universe, everything that I do, and everything that we all do, matters immensely here where we are.  No choice that I make impacts Saturn at all, but they all impact and matter to my family and my job and my neighborhood and community.  Locally, choices matter and are very significant, and that’s important to remember.  Everything we do matters to the people and world around us, and focusing on that means everything.

Offering of hope and prayers for everyone dealing with health issues, stress, job uncertainty, and struggles of life that do matter.  Let us all be positive influences and helpful to all the people we interact with as we go out in the day.

Naked Man Moleskin

This was my first Run-Club Q.  I’d been planning on doing something in the Waubonsie lot since it has a decent sized staircase, and finally figured this was the time to do that.  I was thinking it would end up being around a 2.5 mile run club, but Strava had me and several others around 3.5 miles, and I think Twilight was even closer to 4.5 miles.  Not bad everyone.
