Introduction

As I planned this Q, my goal was to incorporate 2 different topics: strictness with Form, and the concept of Group. Form was included to highlight the importance of holding ourselves and each other accountable to the standard. If we let complacency and sloppiness into F3, they will become a part of it. Group was included as a segway to the Q Source topic of Foundation/Group.

I arrived at the Colosseum a little before 5:00am to set things up. It was great to see Happy Camper, Sparkler, and Bunny Hill already there preparing. The weather was ideal — about 50 degrees and little wind; a nice change from the 30s yesterday.

Circle of Trust

The pre-blast mentioned two themes for this beatdown: form and groups. Hopefully you learned a bit about each. Form is important within F3. We are a group of men that are led by each other. Each and every one of you are responsible for F3. Not only showing up to work out. Not only to get out here and lead a workout. But also to hold yourself and others accountable. If we start to allow sloppiness into F3 — whether it be through incorrect or sloppy form, starting late/ending early, or simply not pushing ourselves or each other, the entire group is going to suffer for it. Let’s keep that “iron sharpens iron” mentality and continue to come out here and get better.
Pi is going to lead us through a Q Source topic on Groups this morning. We are going to learn about groups and leaders of those groups. Here is a little secret about you and your relationship to this group F3. You are a leader.

Dear Lord, thank you for this morning and allowing us to come out and make ourselves better. Please look over all the men of F3, as well as their families and loved ones. Continue to provide parents, educators, and students strength and patience to get through these times of e-learning. Please also look over President Trump and his team and help them to heal quickly from COVID-19. We also lift up those mentioned here today, as well as all those thoughts that have been left unsaid. In your name we pray. Amen.

The timing of the DORA was about perfect; the Pax finished up just in time to start Mary. I had a thing Thang in my back pocket, but it was nice that things went as planned.
