Introduction

Despite the breeze coming off the pond, 33 HIMs rolled up in 90% humidity for an uncertain, unproved VQ. Over the course of the last week or so, I wanted to de able to define the impact that F3 has had on me in two short months. Focus of the day- each day is a gift! My hope was to push the men that took the time to show up in the Gloom to the max. Honored to have had the chance to lead, hope everyone left the AO in a better place physically and mentally then upon arrival.

Huge thank you to Den Mover for having my 6 and for the brother of F3 Crossroads that have taken the time to lead by example, answer my questions, and break me out of a shell of complacency. No time for that shit- LFG!

Circle of Trust

Two months into F3 and it is exactly what I have been looking for. Reflecting back to pre-F3 time I was growing dangerously complacent and lazy with my time with work and family and my efforts to be the best HIM I could. I was stuck in a rut and needed a way out. This was a new feeling. Two key losses in my life have always taught me that life is a gift, and I was losing sight of that. One a 20-year-old roommate, one my mom who raised me to be the man I am today, were taken too soon, and those losses always framed each day for me as “this could be the last”. F3 and the men who come out each morning to push themselves and to push me have helped to re-focus and allow me to attack the day with that passion again, knowing that life isn’t guaranteed.

Prayers were shared for Den Mother’s mother who is recovering from COVID and for the men, women, and children on the East coast facing down a hurricane landfall.

Naked Man Moleskin

I was truly honored that 33 men trusted me to lead them this morning, not having done this before. I can’t wait to get back out and lead again and to continue to grow with this group!
