Introduction

Pre-Blast – Black Panther Run Club

Friday 6/9/23

5:15-6:00am

Go West, Young Man. Been a while since I’ve been able to get back out west to The BP.  What better way to do it than Q’ing to get a good refresh on everything the AO has to offer.  We’ll be visiting a few different areas of the grounds on our run, planning to generally stay together to help push each other.

HC 🔽  for something that should leave you feeling good on a Friday.

Got to the AO a little early to set up the path.  First time I was out here and it was light at the beginning of the workout.  It wasn’t windy either, I had to reconfirm that I was actually at the right place, because every other time I had been at Black Panther you could lean against the wind.

5:15, giddy up.

Circle of Trust

This was a bit of a repeat from my Tuesday OP RC CoT from earlier in the week, I was able to go a little more detail k to it this time around.  It’s a message I’d like to share with PAX, and figured it was pretty much a whole new crew vs. the PAX that were at OP RC earlier in the week.

Long story short, when you are mentally and emotionally fatigued, continue to push through to get to the other side of it.  It is at the end of workouts the we push when we are tired and we get most gains.  Same thing applies to the mental gains you can capture when you push through when mentally tired.  This is something that I experienced in this last crazy month of May for me, and something that I experienced and learned from during Grow Ruck.  I would highly recommend everyone participate in a Grow Ruck event one time, it’s such an impactful experience.

Naked Man Moleskin

It was great getting back out west and catching back up with some of the guys that I had seen more during Scrooged and previous BD running weeks.  Feel like BP is a great place to get some PR’s when it’s not windy.  Was glad I was able to not only start the workout with the Milton Mile that we did at my first post @ BP RC when Milton was in Q, and even better that Milton was there to run it too!  Glad I can Q and give back a little on some RC’s since I’ll be doing a good amount of these over the next 3 months.
