Update 3pm – My 2.0 and I just did a little geometry to set some control points for layout tomorrow. This is going to be fun and :fire: some calories! Let’s start seeing some HCs!

The Thang
Golf-Squatch
Each Pax hits 2 balls to determine 2 exercises. After all PAX shoot, total exercises are added up and done as a group. Then the group runs a lap (.5 to .8 miles in this case). Repeat till time runs out.
For this group of 8 PAX, each cycle resulted in 80 reps between 8 possible exercises.
The Concept
A 20yd wide by 40yd deep grid is established. Our grid started at 30yd from the tee box out to 70yd. The exercise is determined by where the ball lands, not where the ball lies. At each cycle the pin (2 coupons with a sledgie on top) is move. Start at 50yd, move up to 40yd, move back to 60yd. If a PAX hits the Pin no exercises, start running your next lap. Iron Lion worked well with a wide open field, no risk of hitting anything other than grass, especially since we were clubbed down and hitting the short game for finesse.

30-40yd – Freddie Mercuries
40-50yd – Lunges
50-60yd – Big Boys
60-70yd – Air Squats
<30yds – Monkey Humpers
>70yds – Kraken Burpees
Miss Right – Hurpees
Miss Left – Contra Burpees

Round 2 – Pin@40yd – 30 Monkey Humpers, 20 Freddie Mercuries, 15 Lunges, 15 Big Boys – Run Lap
Round 3 – Pin@60yd – 25 Monkey Humpers, 15 Freddie Mercuries, 15 Lunges, 10 Big Boys, 15 Air Squats – Run Lap

Circle of Trust
Reading a good book right now “Things Worth Dying For.” One part that I read stated that every good man should have a healthy sense of speculation. With everything thrown at us either from one side of the spectrum of the other, we need do our own due-diligence, ask our own questions, look at both sides and see what sense we make of the position, issue, or argument. This is definitely harder in todays atmosphere. We also can not just tune everything out. We need to be aware of what’s going on around us.
