Yesterday I dropped off The Ridge flag to Boston Butt to finally transfer SiteQ to him. We were supposed to transfer it on Thursday, March 19. But we made the tough decision to shut down AO’s on March 18. So two months later, was able to hand it over.
But it was weird handover. I had to drive over, then sort of awkwardly hand it over across a distance, and then I came back home to do Virtuosity. It was hard to be there while PAX were showing up in the gloom to exercise in person, and here I was driving away right as they were showing up.
We’ve all made decisions on how we think we can stay safe, yet continue to accelerate. And those decisions look different. For some, the energy in person helps. For me – I’ve gotten to know people and faces I may have never met. And today, we can post together across oceans.
Some may think that we’re divided in this way – gloom, virtual, together, not together. But I think despite the rockiness of it, we as brothers are still united. We need acceleration, we need shield lock, we need each other. And if we take one step back, we’ll step out of the divisiveness of how we accelerate and realize, we’re united in just accelerating. That’s a hard, tenous place to stay, but it’s what we have. And it unites us.
Behold how good and how pleasant it is when brothers can dwell together in unity.

On Virtuosity this morning we had representation from Michigan, Wisconsin, Naperville, New Hampshire, and Dortmund, Germany. Amazing group of PAX united to get right and live right. Things like this show how impactful a little virtual workout can be. (@Wrong Turn in MI, @Mr. Hankey in WI, Flutie Flakes in NH – part of F3 Granite, @Mrs. Doubtfire in Germany).
