Talked about my struggle with Imposter Syndrome.
I’ve worked in our family run company for 14 years and as my role has changed from learning the business to leading it and I’ve struggled to be comfortable this new leadership role. There is always doubt that I’m not in my position based on my achievements, but because of my last name. I’m also more comfortable in a soloist role which puts me at odds with building the team needed to put the company in position to be successful for the long term. The odds of success of a company with 3rd generation leadership aren’t great and trying to not be on the wrong side of that statistic is always on my mind.
That’s where F3 has been a huge benefit to me. By leading PAX in the culture F3 has created it allows me build confidence in my own abilities and take those to other areas of of life where I’m more likely to self sabotage. I’m looking forward to continuing the journey.
Naked Man Moleskin
Rock solid group of HIMS joined me this morning. Thank you to all 18. Inspirational level of effort and coming together at the end to finish as a team with the 6. Leave no man behind, and no man where you found him.
Thanks to Blueprints for the 6 and the timer and Snoop-A-Loop for the tunes. Uncle Rico brought the energy as usual.
Got a little lazy with demoing the exercises. With such a high profile event it’s easy to just assume everyone knows the Thang. Gotta make sure to nail the basics in these situations.
