Introduction
Good day fellas,
I was asked about my availability for this Q spot about 36 hours before it’s start. Our ever present Uncle Rico had mentioned to me he was on the spot but was still needing some time away because he was nervous about Qing. It didn’t take much convincing for me to accept, considering of late I had not been able to post so was happy to commit early.
However, there was some hesitation as I had not yet been to Black Panther to post let alone Q. Nice to know the lay of the land before, but assumed I’d get by early and confirm any plans I had. And all joking aside about Rico, he said he had something special planned and really wanted to lay it to the BP boys. We all know Rico knows how to run a workout, command, and communicate as good as anyone….so yeah I felt some nerves to deliver.
I put out the Pre-blast and it was immediately clear this would be an All-Star showing of guys that have all seen hundreds of posts, so a bit more pressure to not disappoint. I mean I’ll compete and workout all day, no pressure, but running the workouts to F3 standards while making quality men really work is something I’m still new to and trying to improve. I imagine much like most of us.
Saturday morning came and I was there early to scout and for an EC run. BP is real SOLID, a bit far for me compared to other options but a great AO. I knew right away the hill would get some use, when in doubt incorporate a hill, that’s my new motto. Six of us were there for EC on a once again sub zero morning and thanks to Cap for running with me as we got 5+ miles in…barely as we rounded the lot at 6:58 and Appletini yelled how we were going to be late, but I still had time to take a leak on my back tire and make it over by 7..boom!

Consistency is what I brought up to the pax. It’s what makes us excellent and it’s easy to fall away from, but continuing the small habits day in day out is what will get us where we want.
We prayed for Half Price mother in law, Roach Coach’s daughters friend, and one other that I apologize has slipped the mind.

Pax looked tired…I heard some groaning along the way as well…so that was a good sign. I originally planned for 10 squats in warm-o-rama but sometimes it’s good to mix it up and 100 just felt right, keep everyone on their toes. It was cold, we ran through snow, yet I don’t think much of us felt anything other than the workout, at least I didn’t. Everyone pushed and just kept going and that’s really great. Just studs out there pushing. I really didn’t want to go up the hill that 4th time but glad we did.
Shout out to Tonka’s ruck which I think he actually just stole an honor’s students backpack.
Thanks for coming out men, it was an honor leading that group and really made the rest of the day for me.
You all are studs!
