Circle of Trust

I spoke a little about how things have been a little inconsistent for me as of late. Both my kids have been sick constantly, I’m not happy with my work, my darn washing machine needed to be replaced last week. Its just seems like there is always something. I pray for strength because life is not easy, we don’t pray for an easy life, we pray to be stronger. After brief internal freak-outs I always think, “it could be so much worse.”

Last night we discovered an infection insides my 2.1’s mouth, he is only 6 months and does not have a strong enough immune system to fight it on his own, so off to the Dr. we go. Before we had an appointment i could see my M’s mind racing, her facial expressions, her mannerisms, all i could see was concern. Before I could think of anything i told her, “relax, it could be so much worse, we got this.” Its like I was 30 minutes into a black diamond, 4 miles into a long run or 300 step ups into a Chad 1000x..all i could think was. We Got This.

I felt proud to be able to calm her down, thinking of my brothers ITG that have pushed me through the only consistency I have…5:15am every mf day.

Prayed for families struggling all over that are losing young kids, from suicide to the 9 kids (2 from Naperville) that were lost at the Astroworld music festival. Prayed for all of those who want kids..that are struggling to have them, lord please bless those families in need.
