Introduction
With the IronPax Challenge Week Zero awaiting us on Wednesday morning. YHC grabbed the Run Club Q at the last minute on Sunday and wanted to treat the Pax to a nice little sweat to prepare the temples that are their bodies. A few DM’s and texts throughout the day suggested that a winky emoji in my pre-blast may suggest I had other tricks up my sleeve, but alas I held true to my word.
Warm-O-Rama
All were welcomed and notified that we would in fact just be stretching and running today. Running would be a “choose your own pace” aka an Out and Back like @At so enjoys. No need for sprints and suicides and interval training on the day before Game Day!
1 Capri Lap around lot with a nice mosey followed by a 2nd Capri Lap with Heel Kicks and High Knees and Frankenstein’s.
Circle back up at the Flags for Abe Vigoda’s IC x 15 and Motivators from 7.
The Thang
We had 32 minutes to run. Run out down the path for 16 minutes and then turn around. Meet back at the Flags at 0555.
5 minutes of some modified Sun Salutations. Mindful of breathing and flowing through some yoga poses to cool down after a run. These men will be READY for IronPax Wednesday’s tomorrow!!
Circle of Trust
It’s IronPax SZN. Do it. Register. Have fun with it. Push yourself. Go harder than you would on a normal Wednesday. Push the Pax next to you. Finish and record your times. Times are secondary to the experience. But get a good effing time while you’re at it! Then sit around and drink coffee and water afterwards while you bitch about the struggles and boast about the accomplishment of completing it. Most importantly, #DFQ!

Naked Man Moleskin
Was a fun medley of Pax this morning, although an Out and Back run doesn’t really provide much opportunity to kick it with anyone other than who you’re running next to. Some Outpost regulars as well as some visitors from the western areas of F3 Naperville…DJ Sump Pump made it out, as did Onesie! Great to see Party Boy…Bean Counter…it was a great crowd!
