Introduction

I wanted the Q today to reflect my CoT a little, and wanted to try to encourage the mummblechatter so I set it up with some weird randomness.  The OP PAX don’t really need much of a push to yuck it up out there though.  Had the Weird Al playlist tee’d up.  I was excited to get out there and help get jump day started right for everyone.  5:15….away we go!

Warm-O-Rama

  • Arm circles forward 7 IC, backward 3 IC
  • mountain climbers 11 IC
  • Karaoke mosey down, high knee karaoke back
  • Motivators from 4

The Thang

Thang 1

  • With coupons start with rifle carry out towards fitness park, stop and do 9 overhead presses, farmer carry for good amount of way, stop and do 11 overhead presses, rifle carry, stop and do tempo curls 8 in total but at varying negative counts, farmer carry final but out to parking lot beyond the fitness park

Thang 2

  • partner workout OYO running to each numbered cone and doing the series of exercises, coming back to center and doing 7 partner coupon passes, and then running out to next numbered cone on the other side
  • Burpees x13
  • Squat jumps x26
  • Curb dips x21
  • Big boy sit-ups x23
  • HR merkins x14
  • Carolina dry dock merkins x17
  • Once done do a lap around outside of parking lot on street and back to the start
  • If done early do hillbilly walkers or monkey humpers until everyone done

Mosey over to fitness park

Thang 2:

  • PAX keep bear crawling around outside while 2 PAX swap in and do 4 ring push ups

Circle of Trust

We come out here and do a great job of pushing each other to get stronger out here and taking advantage of being able to do these workouts while we can, but want to emphasize making sure you are taking advantage of this time to also have fun out here and laugh and yucking it up with the other guys out here.  We are all lucky to be able to be out here doing this, so appreciate the opp to enjoy the adult recess and act like an idiot out here – the fun we have out here can act as a great mental break for us – and when they say laughter is the best medicine it’s no joke, laughter has been proved to be a great form of stress relief and mental health therapy.

So just want to emphasize to keep pushing hard and crushing it out there, but also make sure to have fun and laugh it up out here too.

Naked Man Moleskin

Was an awesome morning out there.  The OP PAX are like nine other, bringing the energy and mummblechatter.  The memories were flooding back in as I was putting together the Weird Al playlist the night before.  I think I’m starting to get this Q thang down a little, have so much room for improvement but ready to roll out some new ideas the next time around.
