Introduction
My Preblast was vague…mostly because I had planned on doing a Boxing Style workout…but the weather wasn’t looking too great. Last time I did this, I had the bag hanging from the swingset part of the park…which is uncovered. I am all about working out in the rain…but not really into getting the heavy bag soaked and dealing with potential mold issues.
After work yesterday, I ended up driving by the OP to see if there was somewhere that I could hang the heavy bag while being covered. I knew the main pavilion would not work but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the two smaller pavilions had a bar that I could sneak my rope around to hang the bag. This boxing workout is now officially happening…rain or shine!
Got to the Outpost early for the double tap. OP Run Club was at 0515 so I got there around 0455 to set up for the boxing workout at 0615. Heavy Bag…Battle Ropes…Squatting Ropes…check!
After run club…we hung out under the pavilion while the last of the HC’s rolled in. Let’s get warm!

“If he dies, he dies”
I am not a risk taker… but I’d like to think that I am good with taking calculated risk. The thing is … when you take these ‘risks’ or ‘leaps of faith’ you need to be all in. Don’t hesitate. Don’t hold back. Just go forward (with your hands up) and strike! If it fails…be prepared. We often preach prepardness and we should be ready mentally, physically, spiritually, to deal with the fall out. If he dies…he dies. Balls Deep joke was also thrown in here.

Fun workout with a good group of PAX. This format works best with low numbers so LOP was perfect. Anything over 8-10 PAX would make this really tough. I knew I had to get there early to set up but still wanted to double tap so while I maybe didn’t pick Run Club…Run Club picked me.
100% Coffeteria Attendance! 🙂
