Introduction
EC started around 5:02am…YHC was a couple minutes behind however with no HC I pulled into the dark parking lot soon to be greeted by Snap, Crackle, Pop who joined for a little less than a mile body warmer.
We chatted about the Dad’s Camp in June and a bit more.

Side Straddle NOTS
Mosey to East path for loops of speed and distance
The Thang
Plan was to run 1 Mile Loops, 4 corner style in the East path field. Speed on the short sides, Regular on the long sides.
About half way in we spotted lightning to the West and called an audible to get everyone to shelter. The storm came quick, was a small but RED cell with a few lightning flashes and thunder. All 22 hit shelter for some OYO Mary and some ran in the pouring ran about about a 20×20 ft pavilion until 6 O’Clock.
Circle of Trust
I had a different CoT planned however with the Disruption (Q-Source Chapter 1) of the storm and the EAP – Emergency Action Plan – in play today, YHC decided to talk about that instead…
We collected AAR and everyone felt it was the right move to get to shelter. I shared how my career/job was disrupted a bit the day before and how I was in Savannah for work last week which inspired me to watch Forrest Gump once again.
I left the PAX with the mindset to consider the disruption that takes place in our lives and how we are preparing to lead through it. And like a box of chocolates…we might be searching and planning to pick the one with the caramel filling…but then sometimes we get the one with the sick ass, gross ass cherry filling. The cherry ones suck. The cherry ones disrupt.
Life is that box of chocolates. And, we still get another chance to pick again. Keep leading the way fellas.
Prayers.
