Introduction
Objective: Start Memorial Day weekend in a calorie deficit so you can enjoy your consumption knowing you earned it. We will start with a Hero Tribute Workout, and end with some OP7 fun, since that’s what those who made the ultimate sacrifice have enabled us to do! Wear any weight/vest you can for the Hero WOD portion.

Circle of Trust
The aim of this Q was to honor the legacy of a fallen veteran with a challenging workout, than transition to some fun activities, which we are afforded by our freedom. As we head into this Memorial Day weekend, I encourage everyone to think about the sacrifices the men and women of our armed forces have made so that we can live our lives as we do. I have deep military ties on both sides of my family and it’s instilled a reverence for those who have served, and especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

The forecast said high 40s at 7am, so YHC wore some thermal leggings and a long-sleeved shirt. Between the brilliant sunshine, weight vest, and the style of the Hero WOD we were doing, I soon regretted not wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
It was awesome to see everyone getting after it for the WOD, and then the energy was fantastic during the Skillz competition. I swung through DD and got a coffee briefcase after COT, and we ended up consuming that and the options that were available during the chug competition. It was 2nd F at its finest. Check out images accompanying this Backblast on Slack to see the final leaderboard and the chug competition photo finish!
