Arrived around 5:05. Not much set up today. Set my Big Boy Coupon over at the pavilion. Brought my regular coupon over to the flags. Playlist is ready to go.

Round 2:
- (E) Goblet Squat x 15 on my down

Round 3:
- (E) Overhead Press x 15 on my up

I shared a few quotes with the men today:

These are all quotes from Martin Luther King, Jr. Today we celebrate and honor MLK, as many of you are probably aware due to the 2.0’s not having school.
I chose these quotes because not only do they resonate with me personally, I feel like they capture the essence of our group here in F3. I’ve said it before, and I will say it again. It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you believe, or honestly what you do after the workout … for 45 minutes a day, we are all brothers out here. We motivate each other. We inspire each other. We love each other. We live together as brothers. We encourage each other to do what is right. We use love as a way of encouraging one another to get that extra rep in or pace a little faster on the run. Let’s extend these practices into our lives even further beyond the gloom.
Naked Man Moleskin
I love Metallica Monday’s! I wanted to keep the running somewhat limited on this one and just get a nice lift in. Ended up doing a little more running than I wanted (about 1.2 miles) but it was at a nice slowsey pace and helped break up the lifts in Thang 1. No complaints from the PAX, so I will take it. I also wanted each PAX to get a chance to push themselves with the big boy coupon, hence the format of Thang 2. I think/hope each PAX got a good lift in and realized they are stronger than they think.
I usually don’t do this in the backblast – but I wanted to callout some cool things ITG from the PAX in attendance today:
Crop Duster – Excellent SiteQ as always. Appreciate the support! Mumbblerchatter on point.
Dumpster Fire – Sporting the Metallica T-Shirt! I wish even more so now that I would have worn mine. Thanks for the help with carry the extra coupon around too.
Powderpuff – Shows up, puts in the work, doesn’t complain. HIM.
Hacksaw – First post back in the gloom following foot surgery. Nice push this morning. Great to have you back out!
Snoop-a-loop – I see you out there with that ‘level-up’ coupon! The only other PAX today who took me up on the challenge to bring something bigger than the standard coupon.
Blues Clues – He wasn’t there BUT he is the inspiration for this movement of using the Big Boy Coupon. The lifts were harder, but they were not impossible. I look forward to continuing to bring this bad boy out. Thanks for the suggestion made out to all of the PAX.
