Introduction
If there’s one AO that’s best for a Home Run Derby, it’s the Outpost! The four diamond set up allows the Q to figure out if they want wind blowing in or out, etc.
Today’s choice and the only choice…was out.
A home run derby would soon follow…

Thang #2 Home Run Derby
PAX get 10 hits/outs. Home run is any whiffle ball that leaves the infield. PAX playing defense can bat the ball back in as long as one plant foot is inside the grass line. Home runs don’t count as outs. Q calls out exercises in-between like 20 merkins, 20 squats, etc. A few PAX hit 3 home runs, some with a goose egg, Blues Clues hit 5 however it was Fargo who won today’s crown with 6.
Circle of Trust
I spoke with the PAX about all that’s going on in the world. How a lot of it hurts however at the same time, while we work to do things to make it better, it’s important we have fun too.
Today’s homerun derby was about fun.
Many of us compete. We strive to be our best, maybe it’s to be number 1, etc. I’ve seen great things come from this drive, I’ve also seen burnout.
I’m reading “Do Hard Things” right now by Steve Magness. In one part he talks about not working to PR all the time, be #1, at the top, etc. Just work to be better than your historical average. Why? Because this is a healthier and more sustainable approach to still do hard things, and do them better.
On that note, prayers for all the problems we see in the world and prayers to continue to do hard things and continue to have fun doing them.
Thanks for coming out fellas.
