Our WoR was a lap together of the route planned. While we waited for the 6 we stretched.
The Thang
Circle of Trust
I shared a page from my new book titled “What are boundaries”
To and For
We are responsible to others and for ourselves. Two verses where highlighted in this teaching. “Carry each other’s burdens,” says Galatians 6:2 “and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” This verse shows our responsibility to one another.
On the other hand, Galatians 6:5 says that “each one should carry their own load.” Everyone has responsibilities that only he or she can carry. This verse shows our responsibility for ourselves.
It used an example of showing the sacrificial love of Christ. That part specifically challenged me because a few days earlier I said in QSource “I only want to help those who want to help themselves” What I was failing to realize was some people “CANT” help themselves. “Many times others have “burdens” that are too big to bear. They do not have enough strength, resources, or knowledge to carry the load, and they need help.” This is where the big AHA happened for me. Instead of judging someone as weak I should give them the benefit of the doubt instead. It became more true to me that we see others as we are not as they are.
Humbling, for sure.
Final Prayer
Naked Man Moleskin
It was a brisk morning. The route was simple yet effective IMHO. I love paying dues with dudes who love paying dues. We had a nice mix in attendance. We had the OG Playas in PR-BR, Iced Tea and Cataracts. What more motivation does a man need? I appreciate and admire their dedication to continually bettering themselves. Mr Magoo was pushing it out there. Aguila was doing his thang, focused maintaining a good pace. Gordon’s was sore from his 12 miles yesterday yet he continued to fight through. I ran alongside HIM. Wedding Planner led from the front, smooth and steady the entire 4 plus miles. Abu honored his Monday HC, well done brother. Blow Dry encouraging the PAX as always. Another beautiful gloom with my F3Naperville brothers. What a time to be alive.
Aladdin signing off…
See you @ the TOP!
