Circle of Trust
For my CoT I read a page from my Maxwell Daily Reader regarding taking risks.
“Life means taking risk. People who sabotage themselves shouldnt worry about failure as much as they should be concerned about the chances they miss when they dont even try. Speech writer Charles Parnell observed, “too many people are having what might be called ‘near-life experiences.’ They go through llife bunting, so afraid of failure that they never try to win the big prizes, never knowing the thrill of hitting a home run or even taking a swing at one.”
Those who fly always first get out on the edge. If you want to seize an opportunity, you must first take a risk. if you want to grow, you must make mistakes. if you want to reach your potential, you will have to take chances. If you dont you will be resigned to a life of mediocrity. The people who dont make mistakes end up working for those who do. And in the end, they often end up regretting the safe life they lived.
In some way get out on the edge this week.
This morning was my way of getting out on the edge this week. I was pretty nervous about leading this mornings BD after being off fighting a cold all week but I had committed to it and was determined to lead a BD before the end of the year. I thanked the PAX for the encouragement in coming out to BDs and was committed to doing more in the year to come.
Prayers of strength raised for family and friends going through hard times.

Thanks to the 7 HIMs that joined me this morning. Great push by all. I know it was tough getting out of bed earlier this morning after a holiday weekend but I appreciate you men coming out and giving it your all. A little bit of me stayed at that forest preserve this morning, I was gassed! I appreciate the support and the AAR afterwards. Shoutout to Oakhurst forest preserve for leaving those hay bales out for us to play with in the pavilion. I went to scope it out over the weekend and saw the hay bales in the pavilion and knew I had to include them in my VQ.
