The last song we listened to “Your love is lifting me higher”, like every love song, I listen to it with imagining the subject is Jesus…really changes the meaning of the song for me.  Listening to it this morning and working out with you, definitely makes me want to strive to be the man God wants me to be.”

Ecc 7 Sorrow is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the heart. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.

Some thoughts following yesterday’s Mass:

Difficult to see Noonans 4 children and Jenny in pain and hurting. You don’t expect to bury a father when you’re that young.

Snowing whole time – light, soft snow. Reminded me about the verse in Lamentations reminding us that Gods mercies are new every morning and that God is faithful.

Paul in his letter to the Thessalonians talks about death and reminds them that we have eternal hope of seeing our loved ones again and while death is difficult right now, we don’t need to grieve like those who have no hope. Hope is a confident anticipation.
