Introduction

Come one, come all out to The Mammoth tomorrow.  We’ll have a setup usable for both runners and ruckers.  See the highlighted path below that we will be sticking to during the main run.  Plans are for something of an interval workout that can be utilized by both runners and ruckers, with a good opportunity to support your fellow PAX.

Get that weekend started right amidst the scenery of The Mammoth.  There’ll be tunes to keep that fire going too.  I encourage you to wear red as we continue to remember @cardinal.  HC below, and I’ll c u out there.

Rolled up a little early to get cones set up.  I had been doing a few RC’s out at The Mammoth recently and wasn’t sure how the feels were going to be at the beginning of the Q.  But with everything in place and the PAX rolling in bringing the energy from the start, I now knew it was going to be on fire out there.  After some pre-tunes and some mummblechatter, it was 6:30…let’s get this party started!

From mouth of bridge go 80% effort and follow longer path until cones and turn around and head back to bridge, cross bridge, once you cross bridge into inner loop give it 100% effort for entire inner loop, then back to 80% effort once you cross back over bridge and go opposite way on longer path until you reach cones and head back to bridge.  Rinse and repeat until 7:28 where we meet back at the flags.

Circle of Trust

Invest into others

The tragedy with Cardinal in Knoxville made me think about what I’m appreciative for in life as I don’t want to take things for granted.  One of the main things I’m appreciative for are the relationships that I have.  This gets into the heart of my CoT about investing into others.  When meeting new people or interacting with the people you already know, take the approach to really invest into them, listen to what they are saying, listen to their stories and their thoughts, for people you know be there to support them, and push them if they need/want it.  You’ll find that this approach can have a great result for relationships, but it also almost frees you in a way in your interactions because you are thinking about them and not you.  Never take for granted the opportunity to invest into someone else.  Build and foster those relationships.

lots of prayers went out, and we had a solid discussion on emergency action plans headed up by Aladdin.

Naked Man Moleskin

After having done some posts out at Mammoth RC over the past couple months, I wanted to make sure to not only give back a little for a Mammoth RC, but also to experience a Q with the one and only Aladdin at SQ.  Glad I snuck this in just as he was handing over duties to Initech.  That Aladdin energy man, something else.  Was cool to be able to be on Q as the handover to Initech was happening.  Mammoth Saturdays are in good hands with Initech.  And T-claps for everything Aladdin has done as Saturday SQ at Mammoth, phenomenal.  As always, with him leading the charge the energy and 2nd F out there on Saturday was amazing.  The PAX brought the heat too, was awesome to see some PR’s out there, everyone kept that push and encouragement going.  Definitely a Saturday to remember.
