Thank you all for joining me this morning and for rocking your crazy socks to celebrate my daughter Autumn and all those with Down Syndrome as their community continues to raise awareness and fight for inclusion for the most common chromosomal disease yet the least funded. Wednesday run club has quickly become one of my favorite workouts each week. After following the Palmetto 200 guys this weekend and seeing how inspirational they were to all of F3 Naperville, I wanted to challenge anyone that came out this morning to push even harder than they thought possible. Running was something I never really enjoyed over the last several years. Thanks to F3 I love it now. Special shout out to Glenn, Ball Boy, Curds, and Muggsy for pushing me to run more and run faster over the last few months. Seeing guys of all different speeds continue to post PR’s week after week has been absolutely awesome. If you are one of those guys, keep pushing for more PR’s, there are plenty of guys out there that you can still try to catch. For those of you that need an extra push when it comes to running always remember these two quotes I came across about running.
“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you”
“What seems hard now, will one day be your warm up”
Naked Man Moleskin
Rusty -Congratulations for sleeping in. I bet that felt amazing.
Glenn – Please cover up those pasty white legs a little more next time. I know Curds got you excited the other day when he was talking about his pair.
Shandy – I knew you loved running.
I didn’t really get to judge the crazy socks since it was so dark out but I think Poutine’s were pulled up the highest so he wins for best crazy socks.
