Introduction

Sir-Mix-a-Lot posted an ask in mumble chatter for someone to step up and Q RC on Thursday at BP. I’ve been away from BP for sometime but on the out looking in I have been impressed with what he and the BP faithful have been doing lately. The excitement and hype is real. Get out there!

Spring Break week, raining sideways, in the 30’s and instant soggy feet. Perfect, let’s go!

Warm-O-Rama

2 mile EC with Blinky to scout the lot for sprints.

Parks and Rec was doing some savage marathon training and RX just told me he wasn’t a runner.

Intro-Disclaimer-5 Principals

And then mentioned if you can talk for a full story then you aren’t pushing enough

WoR

25-25-25-25 broken down SSH

Inch Worms

Soldiers front and side

The Thang

1 mile run to OHS soccer fields parking lot. Calling out PAX to get them to the front.

1 mile of waterfall sprints rotating through who led the sprint and then trying to catch the front. 2 rotations total.

Recovery loop north towards Rt. 71. Head back and get the 6.

1 mile back to the AO. Challenged a half a step faster. Those that finished went back and got the 6.

Mary – Pavilion and a picnic table for each of the 6 PAX. Leg hold plank flys, leg lifts and 5 Big Boys just past 0600

Circle of Trust

I told a story about overhearing two people in a lunch line where one guy told the other guy “no one cares about your running training.” Pretty cold. Demotivating and really just mean.

Everyone has things they are dealing with and the hard truth is that the majority of people don’t care about your problems unless they are going through them with you.
What people do care about is how you handle your problems.

As I was leaving the food court in Chicago I told that guy to keep after it with the running. I hope that guy is still running and also that he finds others that encourage him to keep going.

Take what F3 gives us and give it to others out there that need it. Aye!

Naked Man Moleskin

Parks and Rec – always putting in the work and always positive. Incredible to see the day after day progress ITG.

Blinky – had a banged up leg and still ran 9+ miles with EC. Probably the first and only time I’ll be able to pass you.

RX – Not a runner? You are a runner. At 64 you more than hang with guys half your age. Impressive and good to meet you. Thanks for having the 6!

Shameless Plug – pushed the front the entire way and was great getting to know you. Looking forward to posting with you again.

Zima – you never stopped running. Haven’t posted with you in a minute but the improvements you have made are showing. Keep hammering!
