Introduction
Pinch hitting a Q again . . . this time for Bjorn who was exposed to Aladdin who has Covid.
Ok DT . . . . lets see what kind of holiday cheer I can come up with.
Time to climb Nakatomi Plaza men . . . . Die Hard theme it is.
I show up at 5:00, and its deserted. No cars. HCs were already light, so I was resigned to a solo ruck into Drago flew in quicker than a Siberian blizzard . . . with more HIMs showing up it was time to circle up.
I brought one of my 45 pound “big boy” coupons. My goal is to work up to using a 45 pounder for all exercises, Except for the stupid days we run with a coupon. Then Ill use a Cousin Eddie coupon instead.
The Fartsack was strong this morning I see . . .
When Goldberg gave a late HC I broke out into a cold sweat, knees weak . . . Moms spaghetti . . .

Indian Run to the Hotel Indigo parking garage.
Apparently I was feeling saucy after doing a run club on Saturday because Goldberg told me I was moving at a Black Diamond pace. So the Indian run was very very fast.
THANG ONE
Start at the bottom of the first incline up the parking garage. Line up 3 or 4 to a heat, and sprint up the incline to the next turn around. Then drop for 10 merkins of differing variety. This is done all the way to the top of the garage.
1- Sprint
10 Clapping merkins. (I almost ate concrete demonstrating. Leading from the front!)
2- Sprint
10 Position switch merkins. (one hand starts above shoulder level, one by your hip. Push up. Switch hands, repeat)
3- Sprint
10 Diamond Merkins
4- Sprint
10 Wide Merkins
5- Sprint
10 One leg in the air Merkins (switch legs after 5)

Line up for Indian Run part 2 back to the flags. (yes . . . the unicorn bag was in attendance)
Stop at the police officer at City Hall. Wave to the officer. Do 15 Big Boys
Recover and line up again. Indian Run back to the Flags

This holiday season is going to be tougher than most. We are all vey very fortunate people with a multitude of blessings. We get to share time with our brothers ITG and are physically fit enough to share the pain of these workouts. But there are many others that carry a burden that we may not know about. Holiday depression, dread, marital or financial strife, and loneliness can be hidden in almost anyone you know. So be kind this season and share the blessings that we have with others. Be kind. Reach out to someone that you think might be struggling. Share the blessings that we make take for granted with others.

I am always happy to help a brother in need. This week it was Bjorn that needed someone to pick up his Q since he was self quarantining.
As much fun as I have with the “St Joan parish meeting” and 25 guys at my home base of Iron Lion, I LOVE the options available at Dark Tower. I was also weirdly happy to not have to manage a crowd and be able to focus on a small group of HIMs.
Drago- Once Cousin Eddie fartsacked I feel like my suspicions have been proven correct. You and Cousin Eddie are one and the same. You are never seen in the same place at the same time. I am impressed with either the Lithuanian accent or the American accent . . . whichever one is not native. Thank you for having my 6!
Mellencamp- Huge praise this morning . . . thank you. When you said at coffeeteria that you really enjoy my Qs and decided to try DT for the first time because of that I was deeply humbled. Thank you!
Bongo- My man! We really missed you when you were on the shelf with a bum ankle. You were kicking everyones butts on the runs and clearly back to full strength!
Dingo- Great great job! Sorry for the fast pace at the beginning of the Indian run . . . I only have two speeds when running I guess. On and Off.
Magellan- Its been awhile since we posted together . . great to see you as always brother. I need to return the favor at Complex soon.
Goldberg- My muse. My inspiration. But seriously, I take it as high praise when you say one of my workouts is a burner. Its rare to see Iron Lion regaulars out of their natural habitat . . . thank for coming to DT.
