Introduction

I’ve been slacking on the backblasts so first of I all I want to apologize, secondly I don’t know why no one called me out?  Since my introduction to F3 everything has moved pretty fast. I’m learning weekly new terms, exercises, names, getting the hang of slack, and backblasts as you can see here. Yesterday during coffeteria I asked what HIM’s meant, what PAX meant, and something else I already forgot. I’m grateful for everyone’s grace and support along this beautiful journey. F3 has blessed my life in more ways than one and I want to make sure I’m honoring our community to it’s highest degree.

The Thang

The Thang was inspired by our Convergence this past weekend. We ran 11’s on Rotary Hill with a twist… Upon take off we bear crawled about 25-30 feet then ran up the hill. Take off was at the riverwalk pavers where we did blockees at the bottom and hand release merkins at the top. As you ran down the hill and hit the set of cones you crabwalked back to the riverwalk (same distance as bear crawl). It was a nice beatdown totaling about 3.5 miles ran, humidity was over 90% for sure. I screwed up and ended The Thang five minutes early so I improvised with a mosey back with our coupons to the parking lot the LONG way (sorry not sorry). Once we arrived at the top we still had a couple minutes before Mary so we threw in a short Indian run because why not?

Circle of Trust

We began our COT with each HIM sharing what they woke up grateful for. I like to begin my day with gratitude. It helps me set the tone for the day and I am better prepared when adversity comes rearing it’s ugly head. Sweeney Todds friends dad committed suicide and we ask we keep Saul in our prayers. He leave’s behind a family who loved him.

I kept our prayer nice and simple, “Love your neighbor as you love thyself”.  A principle I strive to live out daily. I come up short a lot but God’s grace fills the gap and for that I am also GRATEFUL.

Shout out to Drago for having my 6, Sweeney Todd for the determination he brings daily (it’s inspiring to witness) Cupcake for his constant support. Moonlight and Townie were getting after it setting the pace. Boxcutter hasn’t missed a workout since his first Saturday beatdown with Appletini and last but not least 5 Putt with the FNG Scotts.

Signing off, see you at the TOP!
