Introduction

@channel Preblast Complex 1/25/2022 5:15am.
Good news.   Tomorrow is your day to sleep in.  Me and  are going to brave the cold all by ourselves, so that you can stay home in your warm bed.
However, if you want to join us, I will do everything I can to make the 2,700 seconds fly by.
Bring your coupon.  I’ll bring the plan, some tunes, and a very positive attitude!!!!Kisses, Goldberg (edited)

Mosey back to the flags.

The Thang

Thang 1

Mosey with our coupons to the gazebo?pavillion?

Split into 7 teams and ordered ourselves by running category

Group 1 runners went to the “T” on the trail and turned around.

Group 3 went behind them farmer carrying.

Group 2 and 4 stayed behind and did exercises.

First Set was 20 squats, 20 thrusters, 20 lunges, and 20 rows

Second Set was urkins, bulgarian split squats, and burpees.

After each running group came back, we did a tug-of-war match.

Thang 2

Mosey back to flag, and we curled until we had a last man standing.  PAX led a rep count of 5, and it moved to the next guy.  When you couldn’t curl anymore, you went and ran a short loop until we finished.

Circle of Trust

We (F3) talk a lot about “acceleration” “leveling up” “bitch voice”.  We seem to really prioritize and glamourize the First F stuff.

I wanted to highlight Hooch, Bearspray, Full House and Toady.  They gave up their Sunday to go help some stranger and her family leave their apartment.  Finding the strength to accept that request and generous enough to perform that act of humanity is way more impressive to me, than any mile times or number or burpees.

That is the black diamond activity that I need to do more of, in my life.

Naked Man Moleskin

It was cold and my focus was on keeping us moving and making it entertaining.  The workout was scattered, would have benefited from my direction and clearer explanations.  Most days that would bother me, but not today.  We had some fun, it went by pretty quickly (I thought) and we got our heartrate up.

Last men standing for the curls were Hootie and Cable Guy.  Impressive showing.  I think I ran two full laps before they finished.  Cable Guy was the champ.  I think his upbeat persona masks how athletic and fit he is.  Really impressive.

Turner nailed Site Q work (as always).  and the Complex men turned OUT!!  Great to be a part of it.

These horribly cold days are the ones we’ll remember and the stories we tell new guys.
