Different can be good…
For my first VQ I’ll be changing up the typical F3 boot camp. I’m nursing a shoulder injury from Monday night, so that makes it a leg day for anyone brave enough! I’m going to slow things down a touch as we’re going to focus on the anaerobic side of hypertrophy (no running 🙃). Dress warm cause it might take a sec longer to heat up, but once we do this should be an all-day burner.
We will be sticking together, and keeping an eye on each other. Expect lots of squatting, but a circuit finisher that hits the entire legs I am calling, “The Chainsaw”. I ran through this and if you are getting ahead, you’re short-cutting something. Quality reps only, or take a break and jump back in.
Impress me with your music knowledge by naming the group for my music choice… again,  different!
Bring your coupons in case I need a few more for the RDL station, but I do need an approximate headcount as I’m bringing some equipment, and may have to modify stations for “the chainsaw”.

The Thang

Thang 1: The 300

300 squat Tabata done together.
15 rounds
20 reps each round, 33-sec work round, 14 seconds rest between
narrow stance, shoulder-width stance, wide stance
12 min completion

Thang two: The Chainsaw

It’s a big ellipse. Stations along the oval, but the long sides are will be a walking exercise movement – long down the length of the parking lot. “banded” side step AKA “monster walks”  So imagine the chain on a chain saw. At the head or ends PAX would rotate stations doing Rocky Balboas, RDLs, and Sit-down Squats before getting their turn at the banded side shuffle across the parking lot.  Speed and flow are controlled by the movement of whoever’s got the band and how fast you get into position. Moving fast here means you’re cheating, but if you’re too slow, everyone suffers.

Circle of Trust

Bronco went over life challenges that got him to F3 and why he’s inspired by the guys that do this day in and day out.

Naked Man Moleskin

Bronco admitted his least favorite part of F3 is getting beat down by guys almost 2 times his age.

The music choice for the workout was from “Justice” a french house EDM group and their “World Wide Woman” tour album. No one was familiar…
