Peter (that means rock) is the foundation that Christ would build his church upon.
We often underplay the importance our F3 names. Some of us have goofy, embarrassing, and seeming random names. However, there is a change that comes with our F3 names. In a way we choose to leave behind the men we were with our birth names. Brick may be the less than intelligent weather man from Anchor man, but the Brick that comes here in the gloom, the Brick that gets challenged by his brothers, the Brick that suffers through knowing it’s for his own good. That is the man I strive to be all day. I challenge you to think about what your name means to you. How can you better translate the man you are in the gloom to the man you are throughout your day.
