“I start with the premise that the function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers.”  —Ralph Nader

F3 says right in the mission statement that the goal is to promote male leadership.  We don’t come out here to learn how to be followers, because anyone can be a follower.  We come out here to learn how to lead.  And we have some great leaders our here who are doing an amazing job of teaching others how to lead.  They aren’t taking us by the hand and physically showing us, but they are teaching by example over and over and over.  Guys like Parks, TPS, Pi, Urkel and the others who are constantly on the Q and are pushing us to get better.  They inspire us to step up and take the lead, to take some of the burden off them and grow ourselves.  And when we figure out how to be leaders out here, we can take what we’ve learned and apply it to other aspects of life.  We learn to become better husbands, fathers, employees and better men.  So keep coming out in the gloom, keep pushing yourself to get better, keep on learning each day and keep on stepping up to lead when you get the chance!

“The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things.”  Ronald Reagan
