(In the thread, Corningstone messaged the night before that the entrance to the Complex was blocked off. We’d find out that morning that the Complex parking lot was closed for repairs…)

The Thang
(My original plan was to String on Pearl to an open field by Knoch Knoll park for Thangs 1 & Thangs 2 but had to come up with a change of quick plan once I realized we had to start at the Knoch Knolls parking lot because the Complex parking lot was closed).
Thang 1
With the Complex parking lot closed, we started in the Knoch Knolls parking lot with a Pearls on String over the Knock Knolls bridge and the open field. With the following PT exercises along the way to the field, back on the trail towards complex, and back to Knoch Knolls field.
- 10 dirkins
- 10 burpees
- 10 jump squats
- 10 big boys
- 10 shoulder taps
- 10 merkins
- 10 plank jacks
- 10 irkins
- Lunges for short path on grass trail
- 10 awkward monkey humpers will making eye contact with PAX – lol
Thang 2
Once back to the open field, we ran elevens starting with 1 merkin and 10 Bobby Hurleys. With a run to the Bobby Hurleys and a Bernie Sanders back to the merkins.
Finished with a Merkin Ring of Fire – each Pax does three merkins of choice will others hold plank.
Bear Crawl halfway up the bridge back to the Knoch Knolls parking and finished with a mosey from top of the bridge back to the flags.
Mary
Finished with American Hammers, Heal Touches, and LBCs
Circle of Trust
My initial plan for my COT was to tell the Pax to plan and be prepare for things we know about, mostly speaking to my tendency to procrastinate. I definitely procrastinated with planning for my Q leading up to the night before. Whether it was for an upcoming Q or work meetings or making plans for family time, plan in advance and be prepared. I slightly tweaked my COT that morning and added that we must quickly adapt to change and how being prepared allows us to modify plans as necessary. I was specifically referencing the need for a change of plans with the closed Complex parking lot.
Naked Man Moleskin
I was thrown off that morning with the closure of the Complex parking lot and having to start at what was my planned halfway point for my Pearls on String workout. Looking back I should have stuck with my plan and went to the Complex for my main Thangs and finished back at Knoch Knolls. I managed with an impromptu path down some of the trails and it worked out in the end. Because I didn’t stick to my plan, I had some additional time I wasn’t planning for, so I threw in the Merkin Ring of Fire to get us closer to Mary time. I had a decent plan lined up and it worked out in the end because I was able to incorporate what I had planned but in a different order and not exactly as I planned.
Thanks Columbus for having my 6 and appreciate Beanie Baby, Giggles, Mom’s Group, Bean Counter, Winthorpe, Vanilla, Mary Lou, Triple Lindy, White Rabbit, Chaps, Magellan, and Blue Prints for joining me in the gloom!
