Introduction

It’s Christmas Day and I’m back for my second annual Christmas Q — planning to make it a Christmas tradition in the Disclaimer household going forward.  Two hearty souls joined me in the gloom and away we went…

Warm-O-Rama

Kept it simple…

-Side straddle hops

-Good mornings

-Tappy taps

-Arm circles

The Thang

The workout was a Christmas acrostic, with 25 reps of each movement and a 200 meter-ish run between each set of reps.

Carolina Dry Docks (25 reps)

Hand Release Merkins (25 reps)

Rockette Dips (25 reps)

Imperial Squat Walkers (25 reps)

Santa’s Ladder – here’s where Santa gave us a little Christmas morning surprise, courtesy of my deep dive into the Exicon. It start’s out innocently enough as a modified Jacob’s Ladder, 10 burpees, run to cone, 9 burpees, run back, 8 burpees, etc. — but the last 5 rounds are merkins.  But just as the PAX were finishing up, I sprung Santa’s surprise… do it again, but flip the exercises.  So 10 merkins, then 9, etc., with the last 5 rounds as burpees.

**After this, we took out the run between sets of reps.**

Thrusters (25 reps)

Mountain Climbers (25 reps)

Apolo Ohnos (25 reps)

Swings (25 reps)

Circle of Trust

Focus of the morning was being grateful for the joy and togetherness of the Christmas season.

Naked Man Moleskin

Appreciate Ted Lasso and Snorkle joining me so early on Christmas Day.  We ran out of time to finish the workout because of Santa’s Ladder — maybe next year!
