Introduction

April Fools Day  – told PAX to bring coupons, gloves … and that safety glasses would be provided ~ that is all!

Warm-O-Rama

Tappy Taps 10 (in cadence)

Grady Corns (15 (in cadence)

Pooh Bears 10 (in cadence with Winnie the Pooh soundtrack playing)

Mosey 1/2 mile

The Thang

Advised the PAX we would be honoring fallen coupons ITG today.  Broke into 2 teams: Team 1 began sledgehammer swings to break apart broken coupons; Team 2 took 1/2 run.  Repeated twice.

Circle of Trust

Try Something New.  (YHC likes to keep the CoTs short, simple and to-the-point)

YHC aligned 4 coupons to do springing Merkin from ground to hands/feet on coupons, and then spring off coupons back to ground and repeat.

Goal was to incorporate this for all PAX at end of workout, but time went by too fast, so PAX got homework assignment and a promise of another Super Stunt Merkins Q in future.

Prayers for Appletini’s brother and for those too afraid to try new things.

Naked Man Moleskin

Thanks to Riunite and Bootlegger for an EC ruck.

Advised the PAX original plan was a yoga Q, but since one held yesterday I implemented the Coupon Requiem Q I have been thinking about for some time (I’ve been collecting broken coupons in the bed of my pickup for some time).

Special call out to Fathom, who recently joined us and is exploring planting an F3 flag up in the northern suburbs of Chicagoland.  Enjoyed talking more about that on the runs, and look forward to all of F3 Naperville helping achieve that objective.

Appreciated the AAR from the PAX (next time more sledgehammers and coupons, and tighter watch on the time)

We’ve all pushed it pretty hard this week across the AOs and with some EC work, so today was by no means a tough workout.  It was a mix of arms/shoulders and running cardio – more importantly, we got to take some 2F and do something pretty foolish together ITG by creating a made-up memorial service for the tools that make us stronger.  The PAX likely won’t be sore tomorrow, but all seemed to get a giggle and we’ll talk about this one for some time.
