Introduction

It was a beautiful morning… clear skies, 39 degrees, no wind to speak of and a full view of the moon and stars! Doesn’t get much better than this gentlemen. QIC arrived at 5:01 thrilled to see 5 or PAX already parked and getting ready to rumble. Happy Camper was there moving people out of the lighted parking spaces into the unlit rows. This is an ongoing effort and TClaps to Happy Camper for getting everything organized. I grabbed the first few site Q’s I saw along with Happy Camper who is the official Tuesday site Q at TC and nominated them as team leaders, explained the workout and the goal / mission of the day so they would be prepared to lead their smaller group. Circled up, 5:15 and off we go.

Warm-O-Rama

Per my usual WoR, we hit it fast with all the disclaimers and started out moving right away.

Good morning x 12 IC

10 Burpees OYO

Sprint to other end of parking lot and circle back up

Arm Circles x 10 forward and 10 backward IC

10 Burpees OYO

Sprint back to flags and that is you WoR

The Thang

The Thang was a basic 4 Corners with increasing reps along the way. We broke up into 4 teams of approximately 4 PAX per team. The objective was to move from corner to corner with your whole team. So, if the front runners got done before the 6, they had to encourage and do additional reps until the 6 was finished, but try not to take reps away from the 6 if possible. Each corner had 3 exercises x 7 reps each then carry your coupon with you to the next station. When the first round of stations are complete, round two is 14 reps each exercise, round 3 is 21, etc.

Station #1

Blockies, Hydraulic Squats, Dying Cockroach

Station #2

Big Boys, Thrusters, Curls

Station #3

Hand Release Merkins, Bonnie Blairs (each leg is 1/2 rep). Leg lifts

Station #4

Groiners, Goblet Squats, Overhead Press

Each of the teams made it through 2 full rounds and part or all of the 3rd round of 21 reps each exercise.

Circle of Trust

Prayers for Boston Butt’s friend going through a hospice situation with their parents and prayers for Fish Sticks (I think) family. Also prayers for Shield Lock (more on that below)

The theme for today and the CoT was “Circles are Better than Rows”.

Rows begin and end. Rows consist of front, middle, back, etc. The power of the Circle is that it is “unbroken”. It is continuous with NO beginning or end. We all have circles of influence and I challenged the PAX to evaluate who is in their circle! Do you have people in your circle of life that will challenge you and help you grow? Do you have people in your circle that you are challenging and helping them to grow? Take a hard look at your circle today and see if you need to invite more people in. If your circle sucks (to be blunt) you will not grow. Be intentional about your circle and you will experience personal growth in all 3 F’s!

Naked Man Moleskin

It is great to see such a good mixture of veteran and newer PAX embracing the F3 Credo of “leave no man behind, and leave no man where you found him”. Today the teams did a great job of living that credo out. They encouraged each other, stayed together, and worked their butts off.
