Introduction

Pre-Blast The Outpost 11/17 5:15am. Picked this Q up around 5:00 am today. Still finalizing the plan, but I know coupons will be involved and there will be plenty of moving around. Thinking of bringing back an old  Q from my first couple of months with F3. That isn’t a direct call out, but it would sure be great to see you out there ! HC below and let’s have some fun. See you all in the Gloom!! :the_horns:

Oddly warm this morning. I brought a hoody just in case my phone was lying to me but it was, in fact, 60 degrees out at 5:15am!

Circled up, stated the five core principals, gave the disclaimer. Let’s go!

Warm-O-Rama

Hillbillies IC x 10

SSH IC x 15

Capri Lap

Tappy Taps IC x 10

Smurf Jacks IC x 15

The Thang

Thang 1 – Rebel Run

Split into two lines of 4. Start our run towards the pavilion between the baseball fields. Stop there and do 25 Dips together, in cadence. Slowed down the tempo for the last five.

Continued towards Nequa and stopped for 20 lunges (each leg ½), together in cadence.

Continued towards east side loop at the end of the parking lot. Stopped there for 20 merkins, on my down.

Then combined into one line (you’re welcome Blueprints) and finished our rebel run around the parking lot and back to our coupons.

Grab coupons and head over to the east side of the parking lot where there are cones set up.

Thang 2 – DORA w/suicides

Partner up. Exercises are:

100 Coupon Curls

200 Goblet Squats

300 Coupon Chest Press

400 SSH

Partner 1 start exercise.

Partner 2 run suicides.

  • First Cone 18 ft and back
  • Second Cone 36 feet and back
  • Third Cone 54 feet and back
  • Fourth Cone 72 feet and back.
  • Switch

Thang 3 – Burp-icides

Don’t grab the cones just yet Blueprints!

Line up on our base line. Run to cone 1, 1 burpee, back to base. Run to cone 2, 2 burpees, back to base. Run to cone 3, 3 burpees, back to base. Run to cone 4, 4 burpees, back to base. Hold Plank for the 6.

Mary

Football Toss Ring of Fire; On our 6, start big boys on my up.

Round 1 – PAX 1 passes the football to PAX of his choosing then flips into plank. PAX 2 passes to the next PAX then flips into plank. Etc. Continue until all PAX are holding plank. We did two penalty burpees for bad throws/drops.

Round 2 – PAX start in plank. Throw ball in the same order as round 1. Before you throw, call out the PAX so he can flip over. After you throw, continue with Big Boys. We did two penalty burpess except for One Eye Willy and Tang, who did three due to a bad throw/pass that was INTERCEPTED spectacularly by Leuben!

Finished it off with LBC’s, IC x 15

RECOVER.

Circle of Trust

Count – 8

I mentioned a couple of different, fragmented thoughts here. First, a plug for Late Start OP and DT. Congrats to the guys who got this thing up off the ground. I am telling everyone right now … the posts are the SAME! Just one hour later. Same beatdown. Same format. You still get a warm-up. You still do Mary. You get your ass kicked in between. I am looking in to how I can adjust my schedule to make it out at least one day a week to these beatdowns. I will gladly take the one extra hour of sleep one night a week! My family will appreciate it too.

Speaking of family … and also mental health (I am with you on the cheesy mustache today Snoop) … I wanted to talk about being patient. Being patient specifically with extended family and the holidays. These can be very stressful times, especially when it comes to the In-Laws. Some of you may have great relationships with your in laws. If that is the case, that is great. Enjoy it. Be blessed. Those who don’t have as great of a relationship, the upcoming holidays can be tough with planning and bickering and splitting time. Be patient. People, for the most part, have good intentions. At the end of the day, it is about gathering with your family, enjoying the time together, and never taking for granted what we are celebrating. So keep that in mind as we approach Thanksgiving next week and then Christmas next month. Patience.

Naked Man Moleskin

Word for the wise … shins and coupons do not mix. Rammed my shin full speed into my coupon, which I did not see laying there. Why not? Because we men are a bunch of animals. During the last stretch on one of the suicides Blueprints challenged me to a race back to the group. Race?!…challenge!?…manhood!? Ok…run!! Don’t look where you are going. Just run… Hello coupon, meet shin.

Sidenote – over the last year when I was posting mostly on Virtuosity, it would pain me to see so many open Q spots, especially at The Outpost. Even the day before or the day of. I remember thinking to myself that I wish I could just go out and be the guy that picks up the last minute Q. When I saw this Q was still open at 5am the day before, I was happy to jump on it. Also picked up the Q for Friday at the complex last minute … look forward to seeing you there!

Also, Quarter Cart did not show 🙁 Part of this Q was taken from his Sophmore Q. It sucked back then and it sucked again today.
