Introduction

Come help me bring the heat on what could be the coldest day of the year.  It won’t be my first rodeo at The Outpost but it is my AOVQ.  Bring your coupon for a heavy lifting and light running beatdown.  We’ll stay together as a group for plenty of mumble chatter  and to push each other .

Circle of Trust

My business partner and Phoenix PAX, Pink Gorilla, just had a good friend of his pass away in a tragic car accident.  His friend was 42 years old and a father of 5 kids.  It’s incredibly sad and I’ve kept his friend and family in my thoughts and prayers this week.  As I’ve spent time thinking about this situation, it definitely puts things in perspective and highlights that there are no givens in life.  We should strive to be the best we can every day, do what is right, and not put things off for a later time.

I’m guilty of being not being fully present at times for my family and being on my phone a little more than I should be.  I am making an effort to give my M and 2.0’s the full attention they deserve and not be distracted with work, social media, and, fantasy football during family time.

First, thank you Giggles, Elway, Bean Counter, Long Story & Blueprints for coming out on a brutally cold morning.  Blueprints – Thanks for having my 6, much appreciated!

I really liked this coupon ladder workout that Aladdin led a few backs at La Luz and was excited to lead a similar workout here on my AOVQ at The Outpost.   We didn’t get through the full ladder and were not able make our way to the irkins or blockees.  If I use the ladder in future Q’s, I’ll need to make the lap shorter and/or cut down recover time between sets to leave enough time to get through the ladder and leave time for Mary.

Once we got moving around The Outpost it was easy to forget that we were out on the coldest day of the year and it was a great way to start the day.
