Introduction
It twas the gloomiest of mornings at The Colosseum. However, 8 other PAX got out of bed early to do a run club workout. The mumblechatter was at a minimum and all you could hear was the crackle of powerlines and the heavy breathing of 9 men bettering themselves. We pushed the entire way and it was a great workout.

The Thang
This workout was simple. Run. We left The Colosseum on the bike path and headed toward downtown Plainfield. We stopped at the 1-mile mark and the 1.7-mile mark to do 50 merkins at each stop. Then we turned around and headed back to the flags. In all, we pushed through almost 3.5 miles of running ending just in time for Mary.
Mary consisted of:
30 ‘oyo’ Big Boys
Mountain Climbers x 25
Flutter kicks x 25
Leg Raises x 25
High Plank until time ran out.
Circle of Trust
Today I discussed the importance of having the right mindset. With 2020 being the crazy year that it is, it is so important that we develop the right mindset. Are we victims or are we victors? It all begins with our thoughts. A simple formula to remember is Thoughts –> Feelings –> Actions –> Results.
So often we focus on the results and then try to change our actions. But, without the correct mindset (thoughts) we have a hard time sticking with it. If our thoughts are negative then we will be in a bad mood which makes it hard to take concrete action. The results never end up where we want them.
On the other hand, if we get our thoughts right then we will feel empowered and more motivated to take serious action. At that point, the results are simply a byproduct of that right thinking.
Naked Man Moleskin
I am thankful for the F3 men. This was my second time Q’ing a workout and it was a lot of fun. I still have a lot to learn but, I do enjoy stepping out to lead when I can.
