2 weeks from today, the USA will walk into Tokyo and show the world that we’re the best at every sport imaginable. There’s still time to qualify for the track sports so I figured we’d finalize that tomorrow. The races that will take place tomorrow are the following:
🦁 4 x 100 relay
🦁 4 x 200 relay
🦁 4 x 400 relay
🦁 individual mile run
There will be no drug testing protocols, so get your doping in as soon as possible. We will meet in the iron lion parking lot and do a warm up run to the track. HC below!!
Rolled in at 6:15am…some stragglers from ghost pepper’s VQ. I was happy to have 12 total which made for 3 teams of 4. Full disclosure give .

After these 3 races we walked across yackley and finished with an individual mile run back to Iron Lion

We work really hard in the gloom to better ourselves physically and mentally on a daily basis. Habits don’t form over night, it takes time.
to have a positive mental attitude day in and day out is also something that doesn’t happen overnight, it needs practice. So focus on trying to have a positive attitude and over time it will become a habit as well. It will help you personally and professionally.

That was a blast. Much respect to track athletes. I think we all can say that running a 400 as fast as possible is no joke! Merlot was almost spilled by many of us.
winners of the races…
4×400: lane 3, time: 4:50. For comparison purposes, the ihsa record is 3:13, world record is 2:54!
4×200: lane 1: time: 2:09, ihsa record is 1:26, world record is 1:18!
4×100: lane 3: time: 1:00, ihsa record is 40.86, world record is 36.84
i believe Glenn won the mile with a sub 6 minute jobber, but as you can imagine, I wasn’t too close behind him.
a couple of notes on the HIMs that came out today:
Daisy is really fast, he reminded me of the bad guy robot in terminator 2
Glenn is a beast. He joined us after doing EC which consisted of running 12 400 meter dashes!
It was maybe the first time I posted with poutine and bush push. If not the first, the first time we conversed. these are some fine dudes and hope to see you guys at Iron Lion again.
