Introduction

Bloody cold. I’m tired. Rough, deep, long valley right now. But the feeling of finishing a workout is so good. Glad I got out here finally. But here’s how it was advertised:

PB OP. Bring a coupon. Should stay on dry ground.There will be Burpees
There will be running
There will be awesomeness

We got a grand total of 4 HC’s. And they all showed. Excellent work men.

The Thang

Jog to bottom of bridge. Burpee Long Jump (long jump on the jump up of the burpee). All the way to the beginning of the overpass. Then crab walk back down. Burpee till six is in.

Jog back to lot.

10 Burpees over coupons (uh… ski turn burpee? don’t know what they’re called) followed by a crossover coupon merkin (one hand on coupon, other on ground, merkin, then crossover so other hands are on coupon and ground). 10 each side. Then run to end of parking lot and back. Repeat.

If you ignore something long enough that shouldn’t be ignored, trouble follows. I’m personally in a very tough patch of life, requiring ample amounts of faith, prayer, and trust to make it through each day without an anxiety attack. I am so afraid of what may happen that I’m losing my ability to trust and let go of control.

But just like a cut needs alcohol to be cleansed, that fucker might sting a lot, but that means it’s working. And sure, it’ll heal, but it may leave a scar.

If that’s how it is, it’ll be ok. I’m doing the right thing. So if you find yourself in a similar situation, trust. Everyday trust. Make sure you’re doing the right things. And you’ll heal.
