Circle of Trust

I was walking in downtown Naperville over the summer and I stopped into a shop to get some ice cream and what to my wandering eyes did appear but Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

A bit star struck, I fumbled for the words in my head but dropped em out…

“Rudolph, hey man, I can’t believe it’s you. You’re like the original leader man. I can’t believe after all those reindeer and stuff were calling you names and not letting you play reindeer games and things…man…you were still able to fly Santa’s sleigh that night. You saved Christmas man. How’d you do it?” I asked.

And Rudolph shared this with me…

“You see it’s like this…as the bible reminds us, “we are all members of one body. Let everything you do be done in love.” No matter what, act without malice or hatred in your heart. In this way, we’ll shift our vibrational energy to a frequency that harmonizes with the highest vibration in the Universe, which, of course is that of spirit. And as St. Francis instructs us so simply “where there is hatred, let us sow love.” And lastly, as Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “we must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love.” This seems to say it all. And that’s how I did it man.” said Rudolph.

It was clear, this reindeer reads to lead.

And right there on the street corner, listening to these words re-spoken by Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, I learned a little more about what it takes to be a leader overall.

Start with your heart.

Prayers.

P.S. Rudolph’s share is an excerpt that can be found directly on page 193 in Dr. Wayne Dyers book titled “Inspiration”.
