Come out for some running with YHC. Probably won’t be just an out and back but we’ll see.
Bring light if you want but running shoes for sure.

It was wet. Like really wet. So we just started running.
The Thang
Ran to the underpass and back.
Did Mary in the Pavilion to get out of the rain.

This was the fortune from a fortune cookie my son got 3 years ago today.
The next day (October 26) we were on our way to the hospital to have 2.0 #3.
The fortune was relevant because between 2.0 #3 and 2.0 #2 (6 years) we lost 2 babies (one we had to bury) and my M was in a serious car accident and of course there was a bunch of normal day to day set backs on top of all that.
So we tolerated what seemed like quite a bit of rain but were rewarded with Nora who if she ever came to a post would probably be named “Revenge” because my family tells me she’s almost exactly like I was. So she’s got that going for her.
Said an “Our Father” and got out of there.

If I could have changed anything I would have shut off the rain and done the speed work I had originally planned. An out and back in the rain was good though and the mumblechatter was great.
GOOD NEWS- the Q for Run Club at the Complex next Monday was still open, so I grabbed that in hopes of getting the speed work done!
