Introduction
The title of my backblast is a giant lie. I do not enjoying running. In fact, at one point in my life I vowed to run only if fleeing the authorities or if a rather large dog was chasing me. However, F3 has taught me to get out of my comfort zone and force myself to push. I did that on Saturday by Q’ing a run club. Still waiting for my feeling toward running to change. Until then though, I’ll keep grinding along.
Warm-O-Rama
We did motivators from 6 which I screwed up at least twice, tappy taps, quad stretches.
The Thang
We ran. That was about it. I did have people pick up fragments from the coupon grave yard on each lap because I just thought it sounded cool.
Instead of Mary, we did 33 merkins.
Circle of Trust
I promised tales of vasectomies and 3 legged dogs who like to get their groves on but I was just wiped from the end of a long week. Instead, thank you for being in F3 and being my friends. You guys are awesome.
God, help me to remember that I will face nothing today that you and I together can’t handle.
Naked Man Moleskin
The highlight was when we were doing merkins and I yelled, “DOWN” and Mr. Nice Guy said, “nope, we are at 7:30 and that is all.” Stood up and smiled. He’s the absolute best.
Babyhands turns to me and says, “I’m going to go slow today so you and me can talk and catch up.” Babyhands was 200 yards in front of me within the next 90 seconds. He kept up his end of the bargain, I did not.
Mellencamp was back from vacation looking healthy and sprightly as ever.
