The Thang

Mosey you’re SASS

disclaimer given re if pax need to recover, skip out on merkins or laps (to Uncle Rico’s great disdain and audible groan)

get right to it: On the line! (A phrase that PAX proceeded to hear 29 more times over the next 35 minutes)

30×100 yard sprints, each sprint followed by 10 merkins. We took turns calling out different merkin styles and getting the pax off the line.

after 16 sprints, pax matched up and raced around sass, each pax going in opposite directions.

back on the line for the final 14. I was not prepared and did not think we’d make it through all 30, I was very impressed with the guys and their drive to push through.

Circle of Trust

CoT

1 sprint is easy and with limited benefit. 15 calories? 20 sprints is a consistent effort that was hard. You’ll wake up sore tomorrow from the consistent, focused repetitions on the glutes, quads, hamstrings, abs, and calves.

Consistency. Focus. Repetition.

You can draw the Parallel between worthwhile habits and a solid workout. There are a lot of similarities and eventual payoff when you’re consistent and unrelenting.

The same is true if you choose worthless pursuits, hobbies, or passions and if you continue to invest your time and energy into those things.

Prov 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
